Expo 2020 closed it’s doors in March 2022, but is currently in transition to become Expo City. The city estimates an opening on October 1, 2022 and will feature some of Expo 2020’s most popular attractions such as the Al Wasl Plaza, the Garden in the Sky, and the Surreal Water Feature.
For those that didn’t have the opportunity to visit Expo while it was open, don’t worry! Dubai has launched a Virtual Expo that can be experienced at any time. Go visit some of Expo’s most prominent features, but from the comfort of your home (and AC!) You can even watch exclusive Expo performances from artists such as Rico Blanco and Jason Derulo.
You can experienced the next World’s Fair in Osaka, Japan in 2025 with a theme of “Designing Future Society for our Lives.” To stay up to date with announcements regarding Expo 2025, please visit the Expo 2025 Website.
